Study of law at the University of Zurich (law degree 1994). 1995-1997 practicing at the District Court of Pfäffikon ZH and in a commercial international law firm in Zurich. Admission to the Swiss Bar in 1998. 1998-2000 Legal Counsel in the legal department of a Swiss Insurance Company in the field of Reinsurance; 2000-2002 Assistant to Prof. Forstmoser for Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of Zurich; 2002-2004 working as an employed lawyer in a general law firm in Zürich and since 2005 up to now as self-employed, independent lawyer; 2015 certified translator degree in German and English of SAL Zurich, College for Applied Linguistics; 2017 Certified Specialist SBA Tort and Insurance Law; since 2019 practising as self-employed and independent lawyer in (simple) partnership Schuler Forrer Attorneys at Law and since 2023 as an independent lawyer in the law firm SCHULER FORRER SCHUMACHER Attorneys at law.
Main areas of practice
Tort- and Insurance Law (including Social Security Law), Penal Law and Victim Assistance Law, Road Traffic Law, Employment Law, Contract and Corporate Law. Advisory and Litigation. Legal technical translations.
